I was inspired by a blog I enjoy “The Road to Beautiful” to create a goals page. I will probably add to this as time goes on, and I will also cross things off as I accomplish them! Thanks to Kim for the great page idea!
- lose 25 pounds
- drop below 200 pounds
- break my last “lowest” weight of 217.4 pounds (Oct. 5th, 2009 – hit 217lbs !!)
- lose 40 pounds (Oct. 19th, 2009)
- lose 60 pounds
- lose 80 pounds
- lose 100 pounds
- weigh 140 pounds/reach Weight Watchers GOAL & MAINTENANCE
- wear a size 8
- run a mile without walking
- run two miles without walking
- run a 5k without walking
- complete a mini marathon
- cross my legs comfortably
- have true confidence while going out with friends
- ask a guy for his phone number (November ‘09 – even got a call back…I did it!)
- attend family Christmas for the first time since gaining so much weight (Xmas 2009, even got compliments!)
- fit into pants at Urban Outfitters
- completely get out of the plus size section at stores
- fit into my jeans from high school

AHHHAHAHHAA I love LOVE the ask a guy for his phone number! I am gonna add “give a guy my phone number to my list. (I still want to be pursued, but I am willing to give him permission to pursue me)
I did however recently tell a guy I liked him…we are still friends, bu he is not interested like that. sigh…

Glad you like the list! Isn’t that a good one? I’ve always been too shy for that kind of thing – but it’s time for big changes!! Congrats on telling the guy! That’s a big step, even if it doesn’t turn out exactly perfect

WAIT A MINUTE!!! You need to tell me about asking a guy for his number and the call back!!! Seriously…that is a goal that got accomplished and slipped under the radar!!
Oh and ummmm….I am training for a half…wanna meet up in Nashville in April…run it with me??

Haha Kim! I never blogged about this one. I actually am at 3 now with this one. I never, in my life, had the guts to flirt/talk to guys, and somehow I’m totally able to now! I finally get that it’s a confidence thing. Being confident is sometimes just as important as how you look!
And YES! I would LOVE to meet up and run with you! We will have to chat about this, because I need some running motivation. I think training for something will help. I just keep doing 5k every other day, and I don’t feel like I’m working towards anything anymore!
